Temporary Employees of the Month
Congratulations to Randell Williams, Harry Moore, and Andrew Hutchinson Worknet Staffing’s temporary employees of the month for Feb., 2010. From “Temp” to “Temp to Perm”

At Worknet, we place many employees on many different positions, from general labor to specialized, skill-specific clerical. A temporary position can last for a day, a week, a month, or an indefinite period of time, and are considered to be “traditional temp”. Positions can also be “temp to hire” which means the employee would work with our client company for an extended period of time. Once the employee working the temp to hire position meets all the criteria agreed upon between Worknet and the client company, the client company has the option to hire the employee.

While many people enjoy the diversity that comes from working different temporary positions, many of our applicants have the ultimate goal of finding a permanent job. Although each opportunity presented to our candidates may not start off as a temp to hire opportunity, the most successful employees approach the assignment as if it was a temp to hire position. Arriving on time each day, having a positive attitude and taking initiative makes a big impression on employers. Many times, clients will request former employees when positions become available, so be sure to leave a good impression on every assignment.
