Founded in 1978 as Applied Technical Services, the company's original mission was to offer clients engineering and technical support staff on an as-needed basis. When we realized that our technical clients also needed qualified clerical and office automation employees, we expanded our services and changed our name to encompass this new concept of full service.
The severe economic impact along the Gulf Coast during the early 1980's reaffirmed WORKNET's vision for the tremendous need for temporary help, not only in the economically depressed oil industry, but also in other industrial and clerical sectors. This vision of the multi-faceted uses of temporary help fostered the commitment to build a national network of affiliated and company personnel firms.
Today, WORKNET has grown to offer Direct Hire placements as well as Traditional Temporary and Temp to Hire placements to meet your clerical, light industrial and general labor needs.
